Subtle. Powerful. Long-lasting.
Sculptra® is a biostimulatory injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that works deep within the skin to stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers, Sculptra gradually restores facial volume and improves skin texture over time—creating results that look natural and last up to 2 years.

Pre-Treatment
Avoid Blood Thinners: Avoid medications and supplements that thin the blood, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E, for about a week before the treatment to minimize the risk of bruising and bleeding.
Avoid Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before the procedure, as alcohol can increase the likelihood of bruising.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to the treatment to keep your skin hydrated and promote optimal healing.
Discuss Medications: Inform your DeluxeBar Provider about any medications you’re taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and supplements.
Skincare Products: Follow any specific pre-treatment skincare instructions provided by your healthcare provider, which may include avoiding certain products or treatments.
Post-Treatment
Massage the Treated Area: Your healthcare provider may instruct you to massage the treated area regularly for a few days following the injection. This helps distribute the product evenly and reduce the risk of lumps or bumps.
Apply Cold Compresses: If there is swelling or bruising, you can apply cold compresses to the area intermittently for the first 24 hours post-treatment to reduce inflammation.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise: Avoid vigorous exercise or activities that may increase blood flow to the face for 24 hours after the treatment.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure and use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect the treated area from UV damage.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and aid in the healing process.
Follow-Up Care: Attend any scheduled follow-up appointments with your healthcare provider to monitor your progress and address any concerns.
Be Patient: Results from Sculptra injections develop gradually over several weeks as collagen production is stimulated. It may take multiple treatments to achieve the desired results.
Following these pre and post-treatment instructions closely can help minimize the risk of complications and maximize the benefits of your Sculptra treatment. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider.
